How does the wearable air purifier work?
It uses negative ion technology, the same principle used in air purifiers designed for rooms, scaled down to personal size. The device generates a continuous stream of negative ions around you, which attach to airborne particles like dust, pollen, and pollutants and cause them to drop out of the air you're breathing. No filter to replace, no maintenance required.
It works silently and continuously while switched on.
Clean air on their wrist.
The MEI Wristband does the same job as the wearables, worn as a wristband instead. It runs negative ion technology continuously and quietly, no filter, no refills, no noise. 30.6 million ions per cm³, filtering 90% of airborne pollutants and particles within a 35 ft personal zone.
Good for:
- Active people who prefer a wristband to a pendant
- Daily commuters, office workers, frequent travellers
- A wellness gift that's actually worn
Who should not use MEI:
Pregnant women: not yet tested for pregnancy-specific safety.
Infants: choking hazard from the device and lanyard.
People with pacemakers, ICDs, or electrical implants: the device generates a mild electric field.
People with arrhythmia, cardiac sensitivity, or a history of cardiac events: consult your doctor first. MEI emits no harmful ozone or radiation; this is a precautionary guideline.
